MaxLife is a medically based wellness and longevity Center that offers exercise sessions by appointment. Each exercise session is performed one on one with an Exercise Physiologist or Physical Therapist on medically based MedX Equipment.

What Makes MaxLife Different?

     MaxLife exercise sessions are full body workouts that are scientifically proven to create the most optimal strength and health benefits in the least amount of time. At MaxLife, Clients will work personally with an Exercise Physiologist or Physical Therapist in a scientifically proven manner focusing on eccentric strengthening. Traditional Concentric training is usually thought of as the lifting of a weight without pause. Eccentric training focuses on lowering a weight down slowly. During a MaxLife workout eccentric and concentric muscle contractions will be incorporated. The difference is that MaxLife focuses on eccentric muscle contractions while pushing the muscle to failure on each set. This type of training is clinically shown to increase strength better and more efficiently than concentric training alone. Training in this fashion requires more time for the muscles to recover; therefore the health professionals at MaxLife recommend training 1 to 2 times each week in this fashion. Many athletes now train eccentrically to avoid injury with their particular sport.
